Noticing the Unnoticed
What goes unnoticed? Our society moves at such a fast pace, where we often go through the motions, the routines, and the daily tasks without ever noticing. We are a culture that has been shaped to believe that the drive-through is our dinner table, real conversations happen through texts, and strong relationships are experienced through social media. What happens when we slow down? What happens when we become observant and start to live in the present moment? As artists, it is our role to notice. Noticing the Unnoticed explores people, places, and objects that go unnoticed. The collection, a series of photographs, audio sounds, and drawings attempt to bring awareness to the unnoticed. The intimate exhibition space is designed to slow the viewer down with our intent to have you stay a little longer; notice us, notice our work.
